Our Programs 

WiT Mentorship Update


The application window for the Women in Tech Mentorship program has concluded. This initiative aims to empower and support early/mid career women professionals in the tech industry by cultivating meaningful connections between mentors and mentees. The inaugural cohort will be unveiled by mid-December, and the program is set to run from January to June of 2024.

Summer 2024 Internship Launch 


If your company is based in the US or Canada and is interested in hosting interns for the summer of 2024, please reach out to [email protected] or submit your internship offer on our new board here! For students seeking a summer 2024 internship, stay tuned, as we will soon be posting available positions on the LebNet job board.


Fellowship Program Update: 

The application window for the LebNet Tech Fellow program closed on November 30th, with an overwhelming response of 151 applications.  Our dedicated Tech Fellows team is currently in the process of carefully reviewing and vetting these  applications.  We plan to extend this unique opportunity to 100 fellows, a significant increase from the first cohort of 25 in 2023. Stay tuned, as we will be sharing the good news with the soon to-be-announced second cohort!

AUB Seminar by Gregory Akiki

On November 14th, the American University of Beirut's Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, in partnership with LebNet, hosted a seminar titled ‘AI applications overview in Semiconductor Manufacturing’.  The event featured Gregory Akiki, senior director of quality at GlobalFoundries, who provided valuable insights into how the semiconductor industry is using AI to tackle the challenges and enhance efficiency within the foundry model.


Lebanon Corner

MIT Application Fees waived

The Lebanese Student Club at MIT has secured a waiver for the application fee for graduate and undergraduate Lebanese student applicants.

Laptops for Schools in Lebanon


Through a collaboration between TFL(Teach for Lebanon)-US, LebNet and Lenovo, we were able to secure nine donated laptops through Lenovo to create a computer lab for the Salma Sayegh Public School in Achrafieh, a TFL partner school. This school is involved with the Shabake project, which trains Fellows and teachers on the use of digital platforms to enhance the learning process.
